Britney Spears?

Go to www.hollywoodrag.com and watch the video of Britney preforming at the VMA's. Its terrible, she was so slow moving around the stage, dancing was awful and the outfit was rotten! I so wanted her to blow everyone away and get back to the superstar she was before K-Fed...but it dosnt look like it will happen anytime soon...What do ye think of it???

Oh my that was painful to watch. At the beginning there was such a look of apprehension that I really felt for her. Like you I wanted her to blow them away, more for her confidence than anything else. For me it's only highlighted just how far she has to go, her heart didn't seem in it. She needs good professional help, and should retire from the limelight for at least a couple of years, get herself together and be a good mother to her kids.

Reply:It all just seemed so half hearted and as if she wasn't confident in her moves at all - maybe more practise than strops would have been the way forward? I know she mimes as she dances so much but even that wasn't done very well. I actually quite liked the song but I think Britney should be taking a little bit more time out to concentrate on her divorce, children and getting herself better again. Stay out of the limelight and then dazzle us all in a couple of years.





Plus - I'm glad she looks normal now but that isn't an outfit to wear if you're not toned or at least as toned as she once was.

Reply:Feel sorry for the lass really she really lost her confidence her moves and energy cant blame her been through a lot the poor girl is lost and needs some help encouragement and to get back on top to show that waster ex hubby what he is missing. she just got little lost along the way and fell into few traps thats all we all do it come on give her a break guys and gals
Reply:Unfortunately, I was subjected to that on the news this morning. Just horrible. Of course, I think she always was, but she looked like she was trying to find her mark throughout the piece I saw and moved around like a robot.
Reply:I really don't see what all the fuss is about.. ok, so it was a bit half arsed, but I think it was a promising start. I'd love to see Britney sort her life out and get her career back on track.





Also, people keep slating her figure. I've seen women who have had 2 kids look FAR worse. She may not be the Britney of old, but cut her some slack.

Reply:Its a good job the backing dancers rehearsed otherwise it would have been a TOTAL disaster.

Im from Ireland and over here "in Europe" we are all happy Britney Spears is releasing another Album and performing again. We couldnt care less who she marries (half of all americans get divorced), what time she parties until (we all party) or what she wares or doesnt wear. We like her music, we like her sound, we like her performances. Welcome back Ms. Spears


Last night right from the start she looked “bothered” as if someone had said to her just before she went on stage, “fail, *****!”. Maybe the Sarah Simverman joke about her kids hurt her. Anway I know it wasn’t the performance people were expecting, there was no chris angel, no magic tricks and mtv had reported an amazing rehersal (in the rehersal video on youtube she dances stronger, sexier better). I may point out, you can see clearly her shoe heal had broken and that threw her completely, you can see she was wobbly at the start and her dancers noticed this and came to her rescue surrounding her covering her and changing the moves as she went along inorder to compensate.


Who cares if she lip synced, many do! Janet, madonna etc., I think she looked great. Its a start, and thats all. Shes on her “way” back but she aint "back" as yet!Whatever that may be. theres more to come.


So when someones down dont except them to get up immediately. Things take time. We are human after all
