Why won't someone help britney spears before something bad happens? Is the celebrity obsessed society that we live in healthy?

first i have to say everyone wants the old Britney back i mean who doesn't.her parents are trying to help that is far what i know.she might be addicted to drugs.she needs serious help.she has been to rehab but that still didn't do good.
Reply:NO, I think theirs a little of Britney in all of us, some of us act a little Insane too, its the 21st century High Tech Fast Paced Enviroment we live in, Britney is Gravely Disabled I get why.
Reply:I know it's a bit sad but I like a lot of her music (her new stuff is surprisingly good !), and she's a (very hot!) mum so really I hope she gets through her problems.





I can't help wondering if things are really that bad mind you - you can't believe everything you read in the papers....

Reply:yesterday her mom sent her to a mental hospital against her will. this isn't gossip it was all over the news

Reply:She's over the age of 18. There's very little anyone can do to help her unless she approves it herself. The 72 hour stay right now is mandated but any help beyond that will be her decision. So far she hasn't wanted help. It's hard to go through rehab and/or therapy (or whatever it is she needs) and easier for her to continue dealing with it. When you're not in the right frame of mind you can't think clearly and truly understand what you need to do. I hope she gets better soon!

Reply:yeah i keep thinking the same thing!!! i really wanna send her a fan mail because i've been such a fan of her ever since she 1st came out..........i don't want anything to happen to her, i really wish that the paparazzi weren't so intrusive in her life.....it's almost as if they're only after her, i mean of course there's pictures of other celebrities too but there's not nearly as much coverage on them as there is on her. Britney deserves to be left alone.......i'm not liking the way she's being treated these days - its not fair on her! .....somebody's GOT to do something, but its not like i'm the president or anything so what can i do........i just end up feeling more a more sorry for her that she has to go through what she's going through.
Reply:some just dont want to take help and if she wasnt an A list celeb with the cameras following here every move and always having her in the limelight i dont think she would be in so much of a horrible state the media wont be happy until she kills herself it seems like sad as it is to say her life will never be her own again i just wish they would leave her alone and hope she gets better without all the vultures around she might have a chance
